In order to be an objective support to others, whilst protecting personal health and safety it is imperative that good personal and professional boundaries are maintained. When good boundaries are not set and clearly communicated unsafe situations and stress can result. Learning how to set good personal boundaries is also essential for maintaining healthy relationships, work-life balance, and good mental health. Support your staff and volunteers to put healthy boundaries in place by providing this training.

Stress Management and Self-Care
(This workshop can be combined with Boundaries)
Ongoing negative and chronic stress can result in the decline of physical and mental health. However, good stress management and self-care can provide a number of ways to effectively manage anxiety and maintain overall well being; even during seasons of business. Self care enables individuals to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing by taking deliberate actions each day to maintain good physical and mental health, meet their social and psychological needs, prevent illness, accidents and care more effectively for minor ailments and long term conditions. Support your staff and volunteers to effectively manage stress and create healthy habits of self-care by providing this training workshop.

- Understanding of the effects of stress, and the importance of self-care
- Ability to recognise sources of stress, and personal coping mechanisms
